THE CURRICULUM

Eight Weeks. Six Acumen. Nothing Wasted.

Every day counts. You will work in the workshop – welding, wiring, plumbing, construction – getting your hands on tools and materials that most people your age have never touched. You will train physically through running, circuits, strength work and endurance challenges that build real fitness, not gym vanity. You will earn a certified first aid qualification. In the field, you will learn to read landscapes, identify wildlife, understand conservation and navigate the bush on foot and on horseback. Behind a lens, you will shoot, edit and produce content using professional techniques and tools including AI-assisted workflows. You will stand up and present, pitch an idea, manage a brief and learn how to read a financial statement. You will cook, host, debate and lead – all in an environment where the standard does not drop and the schedule does not slow down.

What Eight Weeks Can Actually Change

Eight weeks is not seven months. It is not supposed to be. LifeCamp is for people who want the full Quest experience at a pace that matches their timeline – whether that is before a January university intake, during a semester break, or as the first serious test of what they are made of. You leave with a first aid certification, practical skills across six disciplines and the kind of physical and mental resilience that only comes from structured, daily challenge. You leave having lived with an international group, managed real responsibility from day one, and discovered what you are like when comfort is removed and standards are high.

The setting does the rest. Eight weeks in the Zimbabwean wilderness – camping, hiking, riding, climbing in places like the Matobo Hills and Chimanimani – strips away the noise and replaces it with clarity. Participants consistently describe the same thing: they arrive uncertain and leave knowing what they want, what they are good at and what they need to work on. That self-knowledge is rare at any age. At eighteen, it is a serious advantage. For university, for career decisions, for life. Eight weeks. Proof, not promises.

Accommodation & Meals

The accommodation is based at Quest Africa campus, on a working botanical estate in Zimbabwe’s Eastern Highlands, that serves as both home and launchpad for unforgettable journeys. We have full access to Falcon College facilities including the school sanatorium, swimming pool, tennis and squash courts, sports fields and gymnasium. Meals are generally freshly prepared, home cooked meals, made with estate-grown seasonal ingredients.
